I decided that it would be cheaper for me to make Reese hairbows than to buy them. These are a few that I have made. She has several others, but she can't fit in the clothes they match yet. I can't wait for her to get out of her newborn/premie clothes and fit into most of her wordrobe.
Reese has started making the cutest faces. She has become very alert the past few days. She smile and laughes. It is so cute! I have captured a couple of her faces. I hope you enjoy!
One other accomplishment we have is that she has been holding her head up for extended amounts of time this past week. She started holding her head up as soon as she was born, but has recently been holding it up for a long amount of time.
On the downside, she still is not sleeping all night. I know that it is normal, but I am just not used to it since Travis slept all night pretty much as soon as he came home from the hospital. When she sleeps during the day, she wakes up about every thirty minutes and crys for no reason and then goes back to sleep. The only time she doesn't cry is when you are holding her. If anyone has any suggestions please tell me!
She is SO quiet compared to what Travis was and is now. We are sleeping about 5 hours at a time, and eating more than the doctor says we should be. She can sleep through anything!! Travis and Lexi will be playing and screaming, and Reese will not wake up. He told us Monday that she only had a 2 oz stomach and she is eating between 2 and 4 oz every bottle. (And none of it is being spit up) I think they are a little worried about her eating so much, but if she's hungry we give her food. Monday they also told us that she had gained a little over an ounce. (Which apparently is not normal either.)
