Hello out there in blog land!

I got in trouble for not updating the blog since August, so here is a few things from the past month! *Note* My bows are lost!!! I think James may have hidden them from me! :( Never fear though I WILL FIND THEM!!!!

Blowing bubbles at a birthday party.

This picture was taken to put in Granny's birthday card in September, but since I tend to forget to send things Mom didn't get it until this past Friday. Hey! At least I remembered to send a card even if it was a whole month late.

Travis playing at the mall in New Bern.

My friend Carla and I did this bulletin board, and I thought it was the coolest!!

We can now hold our bottle! Well with a little help but still this just started tonight! :) We also ate our first baby foods!! Yummy Sweet Potatoes! If I remember correctly this was also Travis' first food, but I would have to drag out the scrapbook to make sure...

These are the outfits Granny and Granddaddy sent us to wear for football season! ROLL TIDE!!!

We went to the aquarium when Travis was about three months old, so we just had to do the same thing with Reese. Travis had so much fun looking at the animals. However, he just pops from one thing to the other which made us get through the whole thing in about 45 minutes. Anyways, here are some pictures from that day about a month ago!

Oops and Yays!

Travis has started taking pictures as you can tell from the picture above. I decided to leave the ones off of his eye and his mouth. They were very interesting. :) Other than that we went to the pool a couple of weeks ago and Travis face planted on the sidewalk again...One day he is going to learn to walk. (He is so clumsy) So the past week our pictures have made him look like rudolph, but the pictures were great besides that one detail.

He is such a good big brother. He loves to help out. I have got him even holding doors open for me so I can carry Reese in. He is getting so big. How time flies!

Reese has finally discovered the toys on her swing. :) She can now play with the spinner on her bear mirror. She absolutely loves playing in her swing now.

We have also started the Pounce and Bounce Daycare. Both Travis and Reese love it!! Travis is learning so much. He has gotten so much better at his colors, numbers, and letters. He has a new friend named Denny. I'm not sure if that is a good thing or not. They tend to get into trouble a lot when they are together, but its all going to be fine. And Reese really loves watching all of the other kids play. She is very alert for her age. At her two month check up her doctor said she was glad there were a few four month things she wasn't doing.

Long Time No See!!

Hey Strangers! Well it has been a while huh. We went on vacation a couple of weeks ago, so I haven't had time to get on here. There are WAY TO MANY pictures from the vacation to load on here individually. I have decided to just put them into a slide show. Have fun watching!!

Summer Fun

Travis is being such a big brother. Reese started crying and he found her pasifior to give to her. We are not giving it to her except for every now and then, but you can't just tell him not to give it to her when he is just trying to help.

This past week we have done several fun things. We went to the pool. Last time James took Travis to the pool he hated it. James said he wouldn't let go of him. Last Thursday, I took him to a friend's pool, and he absolutely loved it. He swam all around the pool all by himself. I don't know what the difference was, but he loved it. He wanted to spend most of his time in the 5ft end which made me a little nervous. But we all survived.

You can really tell this from the pictures.

We also went to the beach. I didn't take very many pictures, but next time we go to the beach there will be tons of pictures. Travis played in the water and sand with James. James buried him in the sand, and then they buried one of friends in the sand. (James dug the hole and Travis filled it in) Travis got new sand toys and a beach chair. Both kids got new sunglasses. Reese had fun laying in her tent under the umbrella.

As you can tell we had a blast, and Travis was extremely tuckered out. He slept really well that night. This picture was on the way home from the beach.

Our First Bath/ Watching Trains

Reese's cord finally feel off on July 2nd. She loved her first bath. Well she liked everything but when I washed her hair. She didn't like me messing with her head. Travis is the same way. I don't know why they are like that but they are.

Travis has fell in love with trains and cars. We watch the movie Cars at least once a week. He would watch it all day everyday if we let him. We finally bought him some Thomas the Train movies. We started out with one, but I got tired of hearing the same movie everyday. So, now he has two and that is what he watches everyday basically. Eventually we will get him the rest of them since he loves them so much. This is a picture of him laying on his bed watching his TV.

On another note... You can see he is wearing big boy undies. Potty Training has started going very well. If you take him to the bathroom, he will go potty. The only problem is he will not stop playing to go, so we are having to watch the time and remind him to go every now and then.

Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July!!! We had a wonderful cookout. A bunch of people that work with James came over. James' family came up. It was really fun!! After everyone left we sat on James' truck outside our house and watched the city fireworks.
Here are some pictures:

1 Month Old!!

Well we made it through 1 whole month! YAY!!! We went to the doctor Friday July 3, 2009 for the one month check up. Reese is now up to 8 lbs 9 oz. She has gained almost 2 pounds this month. However, we are still wearing our newborn/preemie clothes. I have changed her formula to try and find one that will suit her stomach. Right now we are trying the Enfamil AR. This is the same formula Travis had because of his acid reflux, so we will see how it goes.

We went to the park also on Friday after her check up. This was her first outing to the park, and you can tell by the pictures the park just relaxed her so much. Travis had a blast as he always does playing outside. Here are some of the pictures from the park:

Beautiful Expressions

I decided that it would be cheaper for me to make Reese hairbows than to buy them. These are a few that I have made. She has several others, but she can't fit in the clothes they match yet. I can't wait for her to get out of her newborn/premie clothes and fit into most of her wordrobe.

Reese has started making the cutest faces. She has become very alert the past few days. She smile and laughes. It is so cute! I have captured a couple of her faces. I hope you enjoy!

One other accomplishment we have is that she has been holding her head up for extended amounts of time this past week. She started holding her head up as soon as she was born, but has recently been holding it up for a long amount of time.

On the downside, she still is not sleeping all night. I know that it is normal, but I am just not used to it since Travis slept all night pretty much as soon as he came home from the hospital. When she sleeps during the day, she wakes up about every thirty minutes and crys for no reason and then goes back to sleep. The only time she doesn't cry is when you are holding her. If anyone has any suggestions please tell me!
